How can i crate train a small dog? - small dog crates

I look forward to rapid growth, to achieve small dog (eg, Shih Tzu or Chihuahua), a local animal shelter. The only problem is that the dog stays at home for 6 hours per day I'm at work. How do I crate train the dog to be comfortable and free from fear in the drawer in my absence? How long can a dog hold the bubble? Advice?

  2. Depends on the age of the dog.

If you are young and help no home training, a small box. It makes them feel safe and secure and prevents them that an accident in the cage.

If your age and home training for a bigger wire cage. It gives them more room to move and be comfortable.

If all else fails, a baby and two doors in a room with linoleum or wood floors and bathroom. And you do not use paper towels or puppy Press. It's like encouraging them to do business in the house.

Shih-Tzu and large dogs. Try to get one of these too. They are really wonderful dogs.
