I have an 08 Scion tC, wondering what to buy. In addition, if possible, the company that makes the SC or turbo, and where I can get.

It depends on what kind of power you need. Superchargers are generally good for about increased 4 to 5 pounds (which is approx. 40 to 50 HP.). Turbos are good for more power. But we must be careful how they improve in their engine factory. TRD makes a compressor for the TC and there are companies numorous Turbo. The turbo kit for your best TC (in my opinion) is Turbonetics.

Id go with it cuz u will probably need a super fast acceleration

ReplyDeleteI know nothing about turbos white / SCS for a CT scan, but turbos are better for speed, but because of the delay of turbo-compressors are better for acceleration. when it boils down to whether you're looking for CV (maximum) or TQ (acceleration)
ReplyDeleteI think a compressor TRD that bolts right into the engine of the Scion tC. I know I have a supercharger for the Tundra 5.7, but my friend bought '07 TC receives a compressor (I think she said she received from Toyota). TRD hours before all others ... TRD, but if it does not void the warranty.
ReplyDeleteThe TC was designed to be charged as a factory option. This does not mean it was as a motor-charged but determined. You just need to know, compressors work best with high compression engine with a turbo instead of a low compression. Turbos are great, but very high maintenance, and do well in a climate with high temperatures. TRD s / c works very well with the Transport Canada Training and last but not least, if installed, it changes nothing in the Toyota factory warranty are. TRD sparks 2k sold. Turbonetics is probably the best place to get a bolt on turbo comlpetely reliable, but 5k run. goodluck!
